The Aged Care Assessment Team (ACAT) help older people and their carers work out what kind of care will best meet their needs when they are no longer able to manage at home without assistance. ACATs provide information on suitable care options and can help arrange access or referral to appropriate residential or community care services.

Aged Rights Advocacy Service Inc (ARAS) is a not-for-profit community based organisation, providing advocacy support since 1990.  It is an independent, rights based organisation that aims to promote and protect the rights and well being of older people, through the provision of information, education, support and representation.  The Aged Rights Advocacy Service is commonly known as ARAS.

Translating & Interpreting Service  (TIS National) has a long history of providing language services in Australia. Commonwealth translating services began in 1947 as a result of the post-World War II migration program. These services were consolidated into the Commonwealth government language services in December 1958 when the Department of Immigration and Border Protection (known then as the Department of Immigration), took responsibility for these functions. Today this service is known as TIS National.

My Aged Care  The My Aged Care website has been established by the Australian Government to help you navigate the aged care system.
